Thematic Analysis of Career Problems of Social Workers

Aim: Considering the prevalence of career problems in helping professions, aim present study was to investigate social workers.
 Methods: This qualitative conducted using thematic analysis approach. The population included all workers Shahrekord city, 17 whom were selected through purposeful sampling until theoretical data saturation reached. For collecting information, semi-structured interviews used. Atride-Sterling network theme method used analyze data.
 Findings: Social perceive three overarching themes: Intrapersonal problems, interpersonal and transpersonal problems. two organizing themes emotional-sentimental (anxiety, general depression, burnout violence), physical In field organizer include: transfer into family home, communication with clients (collapse work personal boundaries clients, inability manage clients' high expectations cultural, educational clients), related lack organizational commitment (feeling discrimination low conscientiousness colleagues), policy organization (change diversity contradiction needs clients). reports context also indicated that nature job (high volume work, challenge work), working conditions noise, inappropriate ergonomics pollution environment) financial welfare interference living environment duties factors led this profession.
